I have scaled this adventure for a party of 5 third-level adventurers. My fear is that the encounters may get tedious, so I’m planning to make sure that the humanoids use some interesting tactics, especially using the dungeon layout, to make things different from encounter to encounter. The big thing that I noticed in converting this adventure is how many repeats of the same monsters appear though the different sections. This is the classic adventure that was included with the basic rules box set in the early 80’s and was the first adventure I ever ran, so it holds a special place in my heart.
